This is not hypothetical
This photo is from a real crash at one of the unsafe intersections on Eleventh Road. Vehicles have collided at both the Lannam Road and Narran Street intersections, and locals say it is only a matter of time before someone is seriously hurt or killed.
Every day, families walk and drive through these intersections to reach the local school and two nearby childcare centres. The risk is not abstract. It is sitting at the end of the street.
Why this matters
1
Primary school right by the Narran Street crossing
2

“I’ll be blunt, it’s not a matter of if someone will die, but when.”
The solution
Roundabouts remove the guesswork. There is no ambiguity about who gives way, traffic slows naturally, and the geometry of the intersection makes high-speed, high-impact collisions far less likely.
75%
Reduction in overall crashes and injuries at intersections converted to roundabouts, according to Austroads research.
It takes thirty seconds to sign, and every signature makes it harder for the City of Armadale to look away. Help us reach 500 signatures and get roundabouts built on Eleventh Road.
